In my lengthy experience I have seen many a creative project's success or failure depend not only on the quality of the art but moreover on the organisation of resources and attitudes towards goal setting, planning, budgeting, collaboration, conflict resolution, and other workflow and management skills, tools and priorities

Very often the 'dreamers' (creatives) and the 'doers' (operatives) are entirely different types of people ...or at the very least need methods & strategies for separating and specialising tasks at different stages of the creative process in order to deliver the best results at the right time

Outside of the world of music I am a fully qualified Project Manager in Film & TV with a multi award-winning feature film credit to my name; including the Jury Prize in the Un Certain Regard category at this year's (2025) Cannes Film Festival, and a long-list nomination to the forthcoming Oscars' Best International Feature category. 

In that role I worked directly with the Producers, Director, DoP and Editor as well as with front end crew and back end technical, forming the bridge between the dreamers and the doers and helping turn goals into deliverables. It was a project with a great deal of responsibility, complexity and problem solving under extremely tight budgets and deadlines and across several countries, languages, time zones and work cultures

Equipped with a broad range of transferable skills I was able to be an integral part of a supremely talented and experienced team, helping them to deliver success at the highest level
